Brown Suede Car Coat with Blanket Lining
The car coat is our interpretation of a classic silhouette. We took inspiration from WW2 flight jackets, as well as heavyweight civilian coats, in our efforts to make what is - to our minds at least - the perfect mid length coat. It's constructed in Tuscany from an extraordinary, substantial suede, with a cotton blanket lining, and the hide's smooth suede side facing out in typical fashion. It is finished with prominent stud buttons, as well as the distinct leather strapping found on the finest vintage examples of leather outerwear. With a generous collar and a simple, straight shape, it is a beautiful example of when form and function meet.
Please note, due to the porous nature of suede, it can be prone to colour transfer onto lighter coloured garments.
